The Federal Club is located in Virginia’s scenic southwest Hanover County, in Glen Allen, Virginia’s Mountain Run subdivision. They are a premier Richmond golf facility, with amenities that include tennis courts, pools, dining and banquet facilities.
LINNE Industries installed the PondHawk in June 2014, before the algae had an opportunity to start for the season. The pond is approximately 0.45 acres (145′ x 120′), 6 feet deep, and located between the #1 tee box and the #9 green. The PondHawk is located in the rough at the southeast corner of the pond. It is about 5 feet from the pond edge, and has 100 feet of airline with a single diffuser in the center of the pond. The PondHawk has a westerly orientation to maximize summer output.
